Jason Donovan confirms return to Rocky Horror Show in iconic role

The Rocky Horror Show has continued to be one of the most popular live musical productions around the world. And it's about to get even more star-studded. The 2026 tour of the Rocky Horror Show will include Jason Donovan, it has now been confirmed. The star, who is best known for the soap Neighbours, will be joining the production on set dates through the tour which commences in January 2026, and will run through to August 2026.

And, although fans of the franchise may not be surprised, Jason Donovan will be returning to the role of Frank 'n' Furter in the iconic Richard O'Brien-penned show. He'll be hitting the stage in Edinburgh, Liverpool, Eastbourne, Bristol and Eastbourne. We've got a full list below. But first, here's how to buy tickets.

Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs.

Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused.

Rocky Horror Show tickets are out right now from a number of online retailers.

Official tickets are where fans are encouraged to look first, and the best place to do so at the time of writing is ATG's website. This retailer has all the dates and locations listed clearly for musical fans to make their decision.

Otherwise, second-hand website viagogo has some tickets available for seats and boxes that are already sold out.

Jason Donovan famously performed in the Rocky Horror Show back in 1999, and again in recent years including 2024.
