The Bajaj Pulsar NS125 and TVS Raider 125 are both popular bikes in the 125cc segment. Let's find out which bike offers more value based on features, ABS modes, and price.

The 125cc segment has become the fastest-growing and most popular segment in the Indian motorcycle market. Two bikes in this category—the Bajaj Pulsar NS125 and the TVS Raider 125—are generating significant buzz. Both companies are aiming to strengthen their hold in this segment. While the Pulsar NS125 is known for its sporty design and advanced ABS technology, the TVS Raider 125 has become a favorite among young people due to its smart features and premium technology. Let's find out which bike offers the most value for money.

Console and connectivity
  • The TVS Raider 125's TFT DD variant offers a premium feel thanks to its TFT digital console. The color display is interactive and offers features like Bluetooth connectivity, call and message alerts, and turn-by-turn navigation. Its interface is also quite modern. Meanwhile, the new Bajaj Pulsar NS125 (2026 model) now features an LCD digital console. It looks modern, but doesn't feel as advanced as the TFT display. Overall, when it comes to the display's modernity and visual appeal, the Raider 125 excels.
Riding and Safety Features
  • The TVS Raider 125 comes with two riding modes – Eco and Power, which provide a perfect balance between performance and mileage. The iGo Assist Mild-Hybrid technology makes the bike more smooth and economical in start-stop traffic. On the other hand, the Pulsar NS125 is the first bike in its segment to offer a three-stage ABS system. It has Road, Rain and Off-road modes, which enhance control and safety on different roads. This feature makes it different from others in terms of riding safety. Therefore, it can be said that the Raider 125 is better for a smooth and comfortable ride in the city.
Engine and performance
  • Both bikes have almost the same engine capacity, but their performance is slightly different. The Pulsar NS125 is powered by a 124.45cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 12 PS of power and 11 Nm of torque. The TVS Raider 125, on the other hand, has a 124.8cc engine that generates 11.4 PS of power and 11.2 Nm of torque. Both are paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The Pulsar is slightly more powerful, while the Raider, due to its lighter weight (123 kg), makes it easier to drive in the city and gives better mileage.
Price and value for money

In terms of pricing, the TVS Raider 125 (TFT DD variant) is priced at around ₹95,600 (ex-showroom), while the Bajaj Pulsar NS125 (ABS variant) is priced at around ₹98,400. The Raider is slightly cheaper, and its TFT display, iGo Assist, and premium city riding comfort make it a more value-for-money option.
