Director Ra Karthik, known for films such as Nitham Oru Vaanam, explained that the idea for the project stemmed from his fascination with Korean culture and its growing influence on India. He admitted that he had not previously engaged with K-dramas or K-pop but discovered intriguing historical and cultural links between Korea and Tamil Nadu during his research. This inspired him to craft a story reflecting hope, joy, and the intersection of the two cultures.
